Doctor's Appointment

Last Monday I had to take Helena to the doctor and have her ambilical cord looked at. It hadn't fallen off (after 3 weeks) and was starting to stink. I didn't expect to have to take her in, but luckily Dan's dad was off and was able to drive us there since I don't have a car. Everything ended up being fine, but it was one of the "better safe than sorry" situations. They had to make sure there was no infection. It actually ended up falling off the very next day! Go figure!!!

On another note, she is now weighing in at 8 lbs, 8 oz. Talk about chubbin' out!
