Choo-Choo!

We sure had a fun weekend! We took Helena to Encanto Park where they have a little amusement park for kids. We took her on the Merry-Go-Round and the Choo-Choo Train! She had so much fun. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, but we had the disposable one. We are getting those pictures developed and I will scan them in so everyone can see them. We got Helena a big, pink balloon. It was like 4 times the size of her head. When she held it, I couldn't believe she didn't float away. She loved it.

For days after we got it, she would let it go in the living room (with the vaulted ceiling). Then she would stare straight up at it, wave at it, and yell jibberish at it to make it come back down. It was the cutest thing.

We also took her to pick out a couple of presents for her first birthday. Can you believe it's almost here? We took her because she's so young, she'll still be surprised when she gets it. But she actually picked out what she wanted. We let her loose in Babies R Us and she looked at a lot of things, but one thing she just wouldn't walk away from. That was the winner. If you want to know what it is, you will have to just wait and see after her birthday!
