Appointment Update

Well, you know how they say "No news is good news"? I happen to disagree. It seems nothing has changed since last week. Turns out all of the contractions are just a nuisance and aren't really helping to make any progress. That doesn't mean things won't turn around in the blink of an eye, but it's still discouraging to hear.

I am so bored with waiting, I just want to meet my baby!! Plus, all of the "you're still here's" and the "any baby yet's" are getting rather annoying. Don't worry everybody! You can rest assure that when something happens you'll know!!!

They had me hooked up to the monitor today for about an hour. The baby wasn't moving much and the contractions were mild but on a pattern, and they wanted to see if they would intensify. No such luck! The ultrasound showed that the baby was very low though, so who knows... We are just patiently waiting and wondering who will be joining us in a matter of days.

P.S. No further information on the whole tattoo/epidural thing. I guess it just depends on the anesthesiologist. Great!
