Roll Over, Beethoven!

I know you have missed me so much since I have not been keeping up with the blog very much. It's harder than I thought it would be. Let me update you with a few things about our Laney.

She is now smiling, cooing, and laughing on a regular basis. It seems everything makes her laugh. Even just looking at the ceiling is amusing to her! She is so much fun because she will squeal in your face like she's a squeaky toy, and it just makes your day. She likes to bounce and dance (when you're holding her) and she's getting better at the whole thumb-sucking thing.

Last weekend, she rolled over! Another big milestone. She does it all the time now. Even though the doctor says to lay her on her back, I'll wake up and she'll be on her stomach. She can move too, buddy! When you put her on her belly, she can't crawl, but she will wiggle and wiggle until she moves that 1/2 inch and then she'll wiggle and wiggle some more! I'll put her on one side of her crib and she'll end up on the exact opposite side (facing the opposite direction somehow).

She can also hold her head up without any help. She will look around and twist her neck so far sometimes to see that stupid TV that you think her head is just going to pop right off. Children of the 21st century, geez!
