Happy Anniversary to ME & DAN!

Our anniversary was Monday. 5 YEARS!!! Can you believe it? On one hand 5 years of marriage is really something to celebrate. A lot of people don't make it that long. On the other hand, 5 years hasn't seemed like that long to us. Either that's a good sign (i.e. "Time flies when you're having fun") or it's not really as much time as we think it is.

We had a great time up north. We rented a cabin up in Strawberry for two days. The weather was beautiful. We hiked to Tonto Natural Bridge (the world's largest natural bridge, made by years of erosion and limestone and lava deposits). It was really fun! And it was an easy enough hike that Dan was able to hold Helena with no problem the whole time. We played some games, like Ping Pong, frisbee, basketball, and Yahtzee. The campground had a whole entertainment area. We took Helena to the playground and played in the sandbox with her. She was fascinated by all of the tall trees and green grass. She kept saying "oooooooohhhh". And I know she enjoyed being active and outdoors as much as we did.

We've made a decision to get out at least one day on the weekend and go to the park or find free activities around town. We need to start getting out now while the weather is decent here and not too hot. It will be here before we know it.
